May of this year 2019 the Mata family donated a 1986 Astro van to HOPE Sanger. In August production manager Fernando Torres was asked about charity work for non profits and he promised to help us with a paint job and some hardware work on our van if possible. October 9th, Fernando and owner of Xtreme Auto Collision personally delivered our fresh new painted van to the HOPE Sanger center!
We use the van to transport and pick up food as well as transporting clothing to the Hannibal House. We also are able to pick up donations and bring to our center.
We are grateful for the blessing!!!
THANK YOU Sanger Academy Bears for the amazing donation of canned goods, cereals, pastas, beans and so much more! Teachers Mary Ann, Monica & Savina rolled up to HOPE Sanger with their trucks FULL of food. This blessing helps us to put together the 60 plus Thanksgiving boxes for Sanger families on November 25th who are in need this giving season.
On November 25, 2019 our Heartworkers put together 56 Thanksgiving dinner boxes. These boxes contained ingredients so that the families could prepare a meal for their families. The boxes included turkeys, boxed mashed potatoes, gravy, cranberry sauce, canned green beans, canned corn, canned yams, and pies. Thank you to all of the volunteers that came out that night and to everyone who donated menu items.
Hayley Fields and Stacy Cook pictured here delivered a HUGE donation of toys, food, jackets, cleaning supplies, games, blankets and so much more to HOPE Sanger on December 2, 2019. Stacy and Andrea (not present) organized about 40 people and within one week collected many of the items on our wish lists posted on our web page. This challenge called the "Kick Ass Challenge" start collecting from thanksgiving to Christmas and donate to different charities every weekend, how amazing is that!?!? Thank you very much!!!
