SERVING families and individuals of the sanger community

About HOPE Sanger

HOPE Sanger is a multi-denominational  non-profit community 501c3 organization established in 2010 founded by Julie Mendoza to provide food and other necessities to the chronic homeless and families in crisis of Sanger.  Initially, the organization with a crew of volunteers focused on preparing and delivering meals every Saturday to the homeless in encampments and to others in areas of most need.  However, in response to a growing increase in homeless individuals in our city we acquired the management of a local motel located at 502 L street in Sanger and converted it into an emergency transitional shelter for those meeting the criteria, no drugs or alcohol and no crime activity.  Since our inception in 2010 we have served numerous individuals, families, and children of Sanger.  We have grown our list of collaborations with other agencies as well, bringing to our community many resources and offering many services to help all Sanger residents.
